It's pretty terrible. B)

Might be hard to understand what's going on. Some abilities attack three enemies at once, like cleave, fireball and chain-lightning.

When characters are on fire, they take damage over time. The UI doesn't really make it clear that it was caused by the fire, so that might be confusing.

Readiness (the purple stuff) allows counter-attacks against melee attackers. You can reduce readiness using lightning. Counter-attacks also work against against someone who attacks the character to the left or right, so if there are three characters with 2 readiness and you attack the character in the middle, you can be counter-attacked three times.

Characters can be dragged and dropped, outside of combat. So in the inventory screen, you can change the order of your party, in the tavern screen you can recruit new characters.

You can use number keys in menus where the buttons have numbers.

Scrolls and potions are stackable. Drag and drop to combine stacks.

Having too many useable items in your inventory can break the UI, by making the buttons too small.

Right click items in inventory to use or equip them.
